EXT. FOOD FACTORY. NIGHT.
The MOBILE COMMAND CENTRE flies over the SMALL NORTHERN TOWN. It is a MOONLIT NIGHT but WINDY.
As it reaches the FACTORY, a HATCH in the back of it OPENS.
In the HATCHWAY we can see two figures SILHOUETTED by the LIGHT of the MCC.
The CAMERA zooms towards them.
11. INT. MOBILE COMMAND CENTRE LAUNCHBAY. NIGHT
The TWO FIGURES are JACKSON and the shadowy figure from SCENE 5, now revealed to be MAJOR NADIA SIMONOVA (CALLSIGN:TINKERBELL), a young woman in her mid twenties. She is SMALL but ATHLETICALLY BUILT. Behind them we can see the LIGHTS of the TOWN through the OPEN HATCHWAY.

JACKSON is yelling into an INTERCOM trying to be HEARD above the NOISE of the ENGINES and the WIND.
JACKSON
Hotshot!
We’re in position,
Switch to WHISPER MODE, otherwise we’re going to wake the whole town up.
Hotshot!
The NOISE lessens.
JACKSON
Thankyou!
Hold her steady over the drop zone until my signal.
And try to pay attention.
I am going to swing for him one of these days.
HE moves towards TINKERBELL who is strapping a PAIR OF METAL WINGS onto her BACK. He clips a ROPE onto a HOOK nearly the HATCHWAYS ENTRANCE and throws the ROPE out of the HATCHWAY.
JACKSON
How do they feel?
TINKERBELL
Fine, same as always.
Why?
JACKSON
Just been a while since you used them and you haven’t tested them yet.
TINKERBELL
Dave made them for me, so why wouldn’t they still work.
JACKSON
Because they’ve been in a UN lab for nearly 2 years being taken apart by morons.
TINKERBELL
You talk like that you’re starting to sound like Cal.
And you’ve tested them anyway, how much harm can they have done? They know what they’re doing.
JACKSON
Well, they switch on and off.
I still haven’t tested anything else.
TINKERBELL
Well there’s no time like the present.
TINKERBELL jumps out of the MCC. Her WINGS extend and she soars towards the FACTORY. She looks up towards JACKSON.
TINKERBELL
Are you coming?
JACKSON
That’s my girl!
JACKSON starts to RAPPEL down the rope to the ground.
12. INT. FOOD FACTORY. NIGHT.
On the FACTORY FLOOR, THE CAMERA ZOOMS in on CASPAR, still taking COVER behind the machinery.
A MECHKNIGHT creeps up behind him.
He lifts a SWORD above his head.
CASPAR hears something.
He turns and is able to ROLL out of the way of the SWORD coming down.
He SHOOTS THE MECHKNIGHT.
The MECHKNIGHT falls UPON him.
Another starts walking TOWARDS him.
His ARM is trapped beneath the MECHKNIGHT’S BODY along with his gun. He struggles.
He stares DEATH in the FACE.
SUDDENLY a KNIFE is THROWN at the MECHKNIGHT.
He FALLS.
A ROPE falls from the CEILING.
TINKERBELL smashes through a SKYLIGHT and FLYS towards the FLOOR. JACKSON follows her down the rope.
Two MECHKNIGHTS are running straight for them.
TINKERBELL reaches the floor and her WINGS RETRACT, she does a SERIES of FRONT FLIPS until she reaches the TWO MECHKNIGHTS. She KICKS the LEGS out from UNDERNEATH ONE and stabs the OTHER. She turns around and TAKES a HUGE KNIFE similar to the one that DAVE has, and stabs it into the MECHKNIGHT on the floor.
JACKSON pulls the MECHKNIGHT off CASPAR and helps him up.
CASPAR stares at TINKERBELL
JACKSON
Yeah she’s quite something. But she’s not a morning person.
The CAMERA cuts BACK to DAVE and MURRAY. They are making LIGHT WORK of the OBSIDIAN GUARD.
They have DIFFERENT FIGHTING STYLES, based on their DIFFERING WEAPONS.
MURRAY
Is it me or are they getting slower?
DAVE
It does appear to be that way.
You better get ready, De Morte,
Your time is coming.
MURRAY
Yeah what have you been feeding these guys.
They are ALMOST THROUGH THE GUARD.
A MECHKNIGHT walks up to DE MORTE.
He CONVERSES with DE MORTE.
DE MORTE
I think your revenge will have to wait Bloodhelm,
Murray, always a annoyance!
We will meet again.
He TURNS and WALKS AWAY.
DAVE
Where is he going?
MURRAY
Something must have spooked him.
They CONTINUE FIGHTING. Dave RUNS OFF AFTER DE MORTE.
A CRASH is heard as a SQUAD of SPECIAL FORCES burst through the ROOF. MURRAY’S FACE is deadpan.
MURRAY
That would be it.
He FINISHES off the REST OF THE GUARD.
The SOLDIERS run TOWARDS MURRAY.
HE POINTS THEM TOWARDS THE CAPTIVES.
MURRAY
You took your time didn’t you.
SERGEANT
We’re here now Colonel.
MURRAY
Look after them,
See if there’s anyone else left alive.
Are Simonova and Jackson on the ground yet?
SERGEANT
Yes sir.
MURRAY
Okay, they need to contain the scene.
SERGEANT
Where are you going, sir?
MURRAY
To help a friend. And probably get no thanks for it.
13. INT. FOOD FACTORY WAREHOUSE. NIGHT
DAVE runs down the TUNNEL. He REACHES the END of it and RUNS into the WAREHOUSE.
We FINALLY see the CROSSOVER PORTAL.
DE MORTE and his MEN stand in FRONT of A WALL OF ENERGY, CRACKLING with ELECTRICITY. MISTS CURL around it. The PORTAL stretches the length of the WAREHOUSE.
DE MORTE raises his GLOVE and FIRES ENERGY at PART of the WAREHOUSE RACKING.
It STARTS to fall.
DE MORTE and his men turn and START to WALK through the PORTAL.
DAVE runs FORWARD.
DAVE
De Morte!
DE MORTE turns, half smiles and walks through the PORTAL.
DAVE runs FORWARD
The RACKING FALLS towards DAVE.
We see MURRAY run into the WAREHOUSE.
MURRAY pushes DAVE out of the way.
HE drags him back.
DAVE
Let go of me.
Cal, I mean it let go of me now.
MURRAY does and stands between DAVE, the RACKING AND THE PORTAL.
DAVE RAISES his AXE.
DAVE
Cal, out of my way.
Don’t think I won’t.
MURRAY
Won’t what? Kill me?
Dave, you know what’s waiting on the other side of that portal.
Letting bravado fall by the wayside, you can take twenty guys not two thousand.
And that’s what will be waiting on the other side of that portal.
And you know you will never get near De Morte.
And you will never settle your debt.
And you will never find her.
So if that works for you, go ahead, kill me.
Because I will not sit by and let you commit suicide.
DAVE stands with RAGE on his FACE.
MURRAY
Okay maybe I’ve miscalculated.
He TURNS and strikes the GROUND WITH HIS AXE.
The AXE sticks in the ground.
MURRAY
Always with the Melodrama.
DAVE glares at him.
MURRAY
Too early for humour?
DAVE PULLS his AXE out of the GROUND and starts to WALK DOWN the TUNNEL.
MURRAY
Oh, you are such a drama queen.
DAVE
I can still kill you.
MURRAY
That’s true
But I found your way home.
That’s got to count for something.
DAVE
Are you going to shut up yet?
MURRAY
What do you think?
